Five Minute Fridays: Beauty

I have only been blogging once a week, due to the fact that we have been sooooo busy with back to school!! All three of my kids are there full time now, so hopefully I will have time to finish some crafts and other fun stuff.

I am linking up with Gypsy Mama's Five minute Friday!!!!! This week's prompt: beauty.

Ready. Seteee. Gooooo.

8:50

Beauty is as beauty does.

Beauty is:

my son's eyelashes
my daughter's perfect eyebrows.
my other daughter's huge heart shaped smile, dimples and all
my laugh lines, really.... I like them
my husband's dark hair and brown eyes.
my fifteen year old dog's sweet expressions.
my flowers, my yard, the air

Beauty is all around me, all of the time. It sometimes takes me breath away. Beauty is especially present when my children point it out to me.

Beauty is:

relationships
the gift of a new, fresh day, everyday
knowledge
words
pictures
thoughts
books
nature
my children's curiosity
Jack's teacher's smile
my husband's cooking, wow is he talented
dancing
history

beauty is abound and plentifull. Thank you, Father, for letting me recongize and appreciate the beauty.

  2. Loved every single word (even the line with take Me breath away!) of this! :) What captured my heart was: "Thank you, Father, for letting me recongize and appreciate the beauty." Beauty is a gift. Recognizing and appreciating it, is too. May God continue to bless me (and you!) with both.
    Blessings-

  4. You are so right--there is so much beauty around us if we'd just take the time to look. I enjoyed your list. :)

  5. Your lists are truly beauty-filled (and I love the use of concrete and abstracts together). And I LOVE that your love your laugh-lines. :)
